Best Western Rochester Marketplace Inn

The hotel service and staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a suite with a couch , the frig worked great ( keep everything very cold) the microwave was small but adequate. The hot water was plentiful. The bed was firm but comfortable enough. The rug was old and worn. The TV had plenty of channels. The only problem was the Toliet! It was elongated but had a small round seat !! Ridiculous it should have been replaced long ago ( see photo ) the top of the tank didn't sit correctly as the internal works were higher than the tank walls. The parking was fine and there are electric charging stations there as well. The surrounding area has plenty of stores and restaurants for anyone's needs. The daily breakfast was good... juices , coffee /tea , some fruit , cereals, waffle maker and the hot foods served were sausage links or patties ( no bacon during my 9 day stay ) but scrambled eggs or omelets or flat round cooked ( like on a Mc muffin ) there was also small potatoes usually. Overall very satisfying. Decent gym and facilities.

The front desk staff member who checked us in was friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water with good water pressure. Breakfast included lots of tasty options such as cheesy omlets, tater tots, fruit, and pastries. The only shortcoming was that the coffee my husband tried was "burnt." Overall, this was a comfortable and affordable hotel a short distance from downtown.

I can't say enough about the amazing staff at the Best Western Rochester Marketplace! Cynthia, Robin, and especially Gregory made our stay truly wonderful. Gregory is an incredible cook and was so kind to my family, making sure we felt welcome and cared for. We connected on a spiritual level, and his positive energy was just what we needed. He even made a point to say hi to all the girls in our group. I also noticed how many guests gave hugs and compliments to Cynthia and Robin as they checked out—it's clear they make a lasting impression on everyone. These three are the heart of this hotel, and their kindness is what makes it so special. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Whenever I come to Rochester I always choose this place. But there is one person who is always helpful to everyone. He welcomes everybody with a huge smile, warm heart. This guy is absolutely a communication master. He gives every information about the facility. His name is Gregory and I definitely thank to him because of his hospitality. He deserves a big hug.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Rochester. On the surface, it looks like an older place that you think might be a little rough. The opposite is true. Inside you’ll find a very classy updated well run facility clean and operated by kind people. The bed was very comfortable. The room was a good size and held all the amenities you would need, and very reasonably priced. The following morning. we found that we were very closely situated next to an industrial park, and upon inspection of the industrial Park we realize that it is a food lovers haven. There we found a great restaurant equipment store and bought some coffee mugs that were just perfect. That diner style we’re all used to seeing at our favorite diner. We picked up six mugs. Directly next door is a Whole Foods style market without the high prices. Down the street is a coffee shop where they grind their coffee and sell delicious coffees and treats. There we picked up a hand bean grinder and a large drip coffee system just what we needed for our camping trips. Next to that was a Grain and baking outlet with mixes of different kinds of legumes, pastas, couscous, rice exotic grains, lentils, beans, in different combinations. Also on display were a huge variety of bread and baking flours in a wide selection of sizes, from small to large. Bakers can find an extensive selection of ingredients. Basically, if they don’t have it, you don’t need it sort of a place. My wife had to push me out the door after 40 minutes. We bought a variety of grain mixes, and we use those in our food preparations at home on a regular basis. It was a nice treat to find different combinations that you cannot find in grocery stores or Costco. I know there are other places in that industrial park that we should’ve stopped, but we were running long and had to move on. I think there was a fish market there as well. If you’re in the area definitely stop by. You won’t be disappointed. It’s a real gem!

Was really happy with this hotel overall! Yes, it's just a basic hotel but it's clean, comfortable and has helpful and friendly staff. Easy to find right off highway some restaurants and gas stations in the area. The hotel is neat and clean overall. The rooms were very clean and have all amenities you should need (mini fridge, basic toiletries etc). The beds here are actually super comfortable and though our shower didn't drain well, it had great water pressure. They serve basic breakfast and have coffee and water available all day. Little outdoor area for smokers is a nice touch. Would absolutely stay here again!

I have nothing bad to say only good things to say. Nice bed. ac worked. Staff was really nice. Will stay there again when we're back in town.

Comfortable, clean. Decent breakfast. Only real down check is that there was no outlet at the work desk in my room, making using my aging laptop an adventure. But they loaned me an extension cord, which was very kind.
